Bonnie Sanders obituary -Death, daughter of Louis and Stephanie Burney cause of Death
Bonnie Sanders Burney was killed on June 11, 2015. Sanders, 12, is the beloved daughter of Louise and Stephanie Bernie. In addition to her parents, she had her brother Louis III, grandparents Raymond Kress and Mrs. Raymond Kress, grandparents Louis A. Burney and Mrs. All Wilmingtonians, and cousins Augusta and Fulton Smith. And there’s Carter and Chase Adams, whom they both love so much.
Sanders is a very bubbly, smart, and likeable guy. She is adored by many friends, teachers and family. She graduated with honors from St. Mark’s Catholic School Sixth Form and won the Best Tennis Award.
Sanders loves the beach, family camping and an avid reader. Her spirit, enthusiasm and zest for life is infectious. Words cannot describe how much she misses her. The family would like to thank the Allegheny County EMS team and Mrs. Missy Cass RN for their tremendous love and care for Sanders throughout the school year. A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 15, 2015 at 3 p.m. at St. James Episcopal Church in Wilmington, North Carolina. The ceremony will be officiated by the Reverend Ron Abrams, followed by a reception at Lee Parish Hall. In lieu of flowers, a donation could be made to St. Mark’s Catholic School on Sanders’ behalf.
