Ryan Byrne death:Ryan Byrne died on the 12th of May, 2019. Details about his cause of death is addressed below;
The car accident happened outside Port Alfred on Sunday afternoon, May 12th, 2019.
Ryan had died on the scene of the accident, Andrew Turnbull died at the hospital after succumbing to injuries sustained in a car crash.
Ryan was a flight school student at the 43 Air School in Port Alfred.
Ryan Byrne death:
The car accident that killed Ryan Byrne and Andrew Turnbull occurred on the R72 near Port Alfred in the direction of Kenton-On-Sea, according to transport department spokesperson Khuselwa Rantjie.
Two vehicles – a Mercedes Benz with two occupants, including the driver and Turnbull’s Jaguar had collided head on at about 14:30om on Sunday.
The Benz was travelling from Port Alfred while Turnbull’s Jaguar was travelling from Kenton.
Two occupants were declared dead on the scene (driver and a passenger) and Turnbull sustained critical injuries but he later died at the hospital.
It’s alleged that driving at high speed may have contributed to the accident.

On social media, a video alleged to have been taken by the passenger in Turnbull’s car, showed a reading of 260km per hour on the vehicles speedometer.
Turnbull was out on bail after being accused of assaulting his former girlfriend‚ Chere Gray.
Turnbull’s mother Martha confirmed Ryan and Andrew’s deaths in a post on his Facebook page which reads:
“Andrew, our only son and brother to Lindy, passed away in the early hours of [Monday] morning in PE [Port Elizabeth] due to serious injuries from a car accident.
His friend Ryan Byrne died at the scene. Please, I’m am begging everyone to please give us time to mourn and to stop the horrible stuff that is being posted on [Facebook]. We are heartbroken.”
