Alicia Acuna Obituary – Death: Fox News Reporter Hugs Her Son On Air

During the shooting at East High School in Denver, Colorado on Wednesday, Fox News reporter Alicia Acuna was involved in a harrowing incident. As she was live-streaming, she saw her son coming out of the school across the street and ran to give him an affectionate hug. Apologizing to the camera for not seeing her kids since the incident, Acuna hugged her son and quickly returned to her report. She explained that her son was safe and was the first to alert her to the shooting. Acuna’s niece, who also attends East High School, was texting her mother during the lockdown. The shooter, a 17-year-old college student, fled the scene and is still at large. This is the second gun-related incident to occur at the high school this year, after a student was shot dead near the school on 13 February, sparking protests and strikes by students advocating for gun control.
