Doug Mulray Obituary – Death: Veteran radio personality Cause Of death

Doug Mulray, a well-known radio and television host, has passed away at the age of 71 after battling a chronic illness for several months. Mulray began his career on regional radio in New South Wales and gained fame in the late 1970s as a host on ABC’s Double J. He later became known for hosting Triple M’s breakfast show in Sydney during the 1980s, and also hosted programs on 2WS and 2SM, as well as TV shows like Beauty and the Beast and Star Trek. Mulray was inducted into the Commercial Broadcasting Hall of Fame in 2019 and was affectionately known as “Uncle Doug” to his fans. He passed away in a Sydney hospital’s intensive care unit on Thursday night. His death has been mourned by friends and colleagues in the media industry, who praised his outrageous humor and contribution to Australian radio.
