Gabriel Puchalla Obituary – Death: In Remembrace Of Peter Puchalla, Bowlus

Peter Puchalla passed away on August 17, 2001, at St. Gabriel’s Hospital in Little Falls, at the age of 91. He was born in Bowlus on January 30, 1910, to Frank and Appolonia (Sobiech) Puchalla. On September 20, 1943, he married Rose Jenny in Little Falls, and together they farmed at Century Farm. Peter retired from farming in 1975.

He is survived by his wife, three sons named David Puchalla of St. Cloud, Daniel Puchalla of Andover, and Raymond Puchalla of Bowlus, a daughter named JoAnn Mick of Waite Park, 13 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and an older sister named Minnie Regina Baumgardt of Apolis. Peter also had six sisters and two brothers who passed away before him.

Funeral services will be held at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Bowlus on Monday at 10:30 am, led by Father Gregory Musty, and burial will follow at St. Stanislaus Parish Cemetery. Visitation hours will be held at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Bowlus today from 4 pm to 9 pm, and Monday morning from 9 am until the start of the church service. An assembly service will be held at the church today at 4:30 pm. Brenny Funeral Home West Chapel in Little Falls is in charge of arrangements.
