Halia Culbertson Obituary – Death: killing 17-year-old girl Cause Of death
Early Monday morning, a tragic incident occurred at a shop in the North East, resulting in the death of a 17-year-old girl who was stabbed during an altercation. The incident occurred at 11:45 p.m. Sunday outside of Cleveland Avenue, where at least one stab wound was discovered in front of Shelf 161 at 5691 Emporium Square in Columbus. The victim, Halia Culbertson, was rushed to OhioHealth Riverside Medical Center but sadly died at 12:24 a.m. on Monday. An 18-year-old woman, Bryanna Barozzini, has been charged with murder in connection with the stabbing and is currently being held at Franklin County Jail. Witnesses and video footage identified Barozzini as involved in a fight that started at the store and continued in the parking lot. She admitted to carrying a knife and brandishing it at Culbertson during the fight. Barozzini appeared in court on Tuesday, and her bond was set at $750,000. She was released from prison under certain conditions, including staying away from Culbertson’s family and the area where the victim was stabbed. The case is scheduled to continue next week.
