Jason Arno Obituary – Death: Buffalo firefighter Cause Of Death, Funeral

Since firefighter Jason Arno passed away on March 1, we have gained more insight into his life as a family man, friend, and dedicated firefighter. According to Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown, Arno worked full-time at the Buffalo Fire Department Engine 2 for three years, was 37 years old, and came from a close-knit family who showed great hospitality when he met with them along with Buffalo Fire Department Chief William Renaldo.

Buffalo Fire Chief Renaldo described Arno as a bright, young man who recently married and had a three-year-old daughter. Arno was also a model firefighter and employee, who had a promising future ahead of him. Renaldo also highlighted the strong bonds within the Buffalo Fire Department, comparing it to a big family where they all support each other through thick and thin.

Arno is survived by his wife Sarah and their daughter Olivia, who was the focus of much of his love and attention. His brother Delton expressed his sadness and disbelief at the tragic loss of Arno, and the heartbreak his family is facing on the GoFundMe page set up to support them.

Despite the immense grief felt by Arno’s loved ones and colleagues, they are determined to respect the family’s privacy and give them the space to grieve in peace. Buffalo Fire Chief Renaldo commended Arno for his bravery and dedication to serving the people of Buffalo, describing him as a hero who deserves recognition for his service. The community will come together to honor Arno at St. Joseph’s Cathedral on Friday.
