On the other hand, Javed Sheikh is a renowned Pakistani actor, film director, and producer who has made a significant contribution to the Pakistani and Bollywood film industries. Born in Rawalpindi, he started his career in 1974 with the Hollywood film Dharmaka by Pakistani author Ibn-e-Safi. He has acted in over 100 films in Urdu, Sinhala, and Punjabi and appeared in numerous TV series.
He made his directorial debut in 1995 with Mushkil and directed Yeh Dil Aap Ka Huwa in 2002, where he played a supporting role. Javed Sheikh has also acted in Bollywood films such as Shikhar, Jaan-E-Mann, and Jannat. He returned to Pakistani cinema with popular movies like Na Maloom Afraad, Bin Roye, Jawani Phir Nahi Ani, and Mehrunisa V Lub U.
While his big-budget film Khulay Aasman Ke Neechay failed at the box office, Javed Sheikh continues to work in the entertainment industry and has directed and acted in films such as Wujood and Mention in Trouble. He even appeared in Bollywood films like Tamasa and Happy Bhag Jayegi with his daughter Moma Sheikh.
