It’s expected to be one of the most thrilling and significant park openings in years. Recently, Disney enthusiast JoJo Siwa and a few lucky individuals, including Mike Reyes, have had the privilege of experiencing the ride. Siwa even rode with the President of Walt Disney World, Jeff Vahle, who many believe has the best job in the world.

This past week, Walt Disney World hosted an exclusive #AllTheDisneyThrills event for VIPs and media, with notable celebrities like JoJo Siwa and stars from the original Tron movie in attendance. One of the event’s highlights was Siwa’s Instagram post showcasing her ride experience and gratitude towards her partner.

When Bob Chapek became CEO, he appointed Josh D’Amaro as Chairman of Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products, leaving Jeff Vahle to take over as the President of Walt Disney World in 2020. Despite some personnel changes, the parks have continued to flourish under Vahle’s leadership.

Disney Parks enthusiasts may be familiar with the names of the people who run things behind the scenes, including Jeff Vahle and Josh D’Amaro, who are often seen taking pictures with visitors. Tron: Lightcycle Run features carriages resembling the iconic lightcycles from the Tron movies. Although they are single-rider vehicles, two cycles are set up side-by-side to accommodate more guests, with each person paired with a partner from their party or chosen at random.

Tron: Lightcycle Run has been in preview mode for the last few weeks, accessible to Annual Pass holders and Cast Members, with the grand opening scheduled for April. Despite concerns about accessibility, the response to the ride has been overwhelmingly positive, with many hailing it as an impressive and thrilling new addition to both Disney World and Magic Kingdom.
