Liam Kearns Obituary – Death: Gaelic football manager offaly and former player Cause Of Death

Liam Kearns, the new football manager for Offaly, has finalized his management team as he prepares for the 2023 season. Tullamore’s John Rouse and Gracefield’s Martin Murphy have been selected as selectors.

Rouse has a successful track record, having led Tullamore to Offaly SFC in 2013 and achieving notable success at Knockbeg Academy and St Joseph’s Rochfortbridge. Murphy, on the other hand, currently coaches Portarlington, who have won the Laois SFC and are considered strong contenders for the Leinster title this year.

Kearns has also appointed Alan Flynn, who has worked with Claire and Kildare, as coach, Keith Carr as strength and conditioning coach, and Paul Fitzgerald as goalkeeping coach.

However, Kearns has already faced challenges with some players. Goalkeeper Paddy Dunican won’t be available in 2023, while Jordan Hayes will be starting his service with the Defense Force, keeping him out of the league. Some members of last year’s All-Ireland Under-20 squad are also dealing with injuries.

Additionally, Neil McNamee and captain Johnny Moloney are uncertain about their futures with the team. Kearns expressed his desire to have Moloney on the team, but understands that he has family responsibilities and lives in Galway. Meanwhile, McNamee is currently preparing for a campaign at Rozleinster club and has been contemplating his future with Offaly.
