On June 10th, 2021, the Uxbridge community lost a beloved member, Mitch Watson. Mitch was a cherished friend, family member, and colleague to many. As a tribute to his life, we celebrate his memory with an obituary, honoring his life, his legacy, and the impact he had on the community. Mitch’s kind spirit touched the lives of many, and he will always be remembered.
Born on August 16th, 1989, in Uxbridge, Ontario, Mitch was a bright and outgoing young man with a passion for the outdoors. He loved camping and fishing with family and friends, and he excelled at sports, playing football, hockey, and baseball. He was also an accomplished musician, playing the guitar and singing in a local band.
Mitch was a hardworking and dedicated employee at the local grocery store. He was always willing to help his co-workers and was well-liked by all. He was a loyal friend, always there to offer support.
Mitch was an active member of the Uxbridge community. He volunteered his time for community events and was a member of the local Lions Club. He also served as an usher and sang in the choir at his church.
Mitch was a loving son, brother, and uncle, always there for his family. His kind heart and generous spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
To celebrate his life, family and friends gathered on August 10th, 2020, at the Uxbridge Community Centre. Donations were made to the Uxbridge Lions Club in Mitch’s memory, instead of flowers.
Mitch Watson’s memory will live on through the kindness, generosity, and loyalty he showed to all those he knew. He will be deeply missed, and his passing is a great loss to the Uxbridge community.
