Ray died peacefully surrounded by a loving family at LHSC University Hospital on Saturday 25th February 2023 aged 79. Shirley (Hardik) beloved husband. Aimée (Nic Higdon) Gauthier loving father. Dear brother to Normand (Cathy) Gauthier, Nicole (Gerald) Wilson, Serge (Dianne) Gauthier and Jackie (Richard) Beauchamp. He was preceded by his parents, Maurice and Yvette (Pronovost) Gauthier, and his sister, Thérèse Gauthier. A niece, nephew and their children survive. Cremation has been held. A celebration of Ray’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Canadian Kidney Foundation or Cancer Society’s Wheel of Hope (checks to funeral directors only, please).
