Six Nine la fitness video leaked on twitter, Tekashi 6ix9ine brutally beaten
According to CBS Miami, rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine was hospitalized on Tuesday after being assaulted in a steam room at a fitness center in South Florida. The incident was captured in a video posted on social media. The rapper, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, was beaten up and his face was torn apart. His attorney, Lance Lazaro, confirmed that 6ix9ine was physically overpowered and outnumbered during the attack. Videos circulated on various social media platforms showed Hernandez on the floor of the gym bathroom being kicked and his hair being pulled by at least two men.
Prior to this incident, Tekashi 6ix9ine was a social media star, boasting millions of followers on Instagram, and had gained popularity in the hip-hop world with his multi-platinum single “Fefe” featuring Nicki Minaj, which reached number 3 on the pop chart. He also had a collaboration with imprisoned rapper Bobby Shmurda on “Stoopid.”
The rapper had previously been arrested in November 2018 and sentenced to 13 months behind bars for crimes related to the Nine Bloods gang. However, he was released early from federal prison in April 2020 after becoming a cooperating witness for prosecutors targeting two of his former gang members. In exchange for his cooperation, he was sentenced to 24 months in prison and was released early due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
TMZ reported that police and emergency services arrived at the LA Fitness center following the assault, but it is unclear where exactly the attack took place in South Florida. Another video showed 6ix9ine with blood on his face accusing customers of jumping on him, but the person who recorded the video denied any involvement and claimed to be a “fan.”
