Julia Sweeney is a well-known actress and comedian, best recognized for her four seasons on Saturday Night Live and her notable portrayal of “Pat” on the show. Additionally, she is celebrated for her highly acclaimed one-woman performances, including “God Said Ha!,” “Family Life,” and “God Free.” “God Said Ha!” was even performed on Broadway at the Lyceum Theater in 1996 and later released as a film by Miramax in 1998, produced by Quentin Tarantino.

Julia initially launched her career with The Groundlings Theatre, a prominent improv comedy sketch company in Los Angeles, where she crossed paths with SNL cast members Phil Hartman and Jon Lovitz. This eventually led to an invitation from SNL producer Lorne Michaels to join the cast of the show. Following her time on SNL, Julia returned to Los Angeles and directed one of her most popular roles in the feature film “It’s Pat.” Despite its lackluster box office performance, the movie still boasts a significant fan base.
