Starting on Thursday, the Miami-Dade County Youth Fair at 10901 SW 24th St. will feature new rides, exhibits, concerts, and unique food options. Some of the new food items that attendees can enjoy include the Miami Cuban Funnel Cake Sandwich, Pickle Fries with Cheese and Cucumber Lemonade, or a Fried Milkshake.

Eddie Cora, the president of the Miami-Dade Youth Fair, expressed his excitement for the screams of thrill-seekers riding the new “Outlaw” roller coaster.

The 71st annual Youth Fair offers over 80 rides, and the organizers will host their first “Be There 5K” on Saturday morning at 7:30 a.m. The 5,000 runners will contribute to the Miami-Dade Youth Fair’s scholarship fund, which benefits children in the community. The event will feature blockbuster shows, engaging performances, student competitions, and interactive attractions in addition to food and rides.
